Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor. Her red hair is thinning but still full. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: She was born in a small desert village. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting brigands, the young Mary began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.

Description: He wears a fancy black suit. He is portly but not overly obese. His silver hair is thinning but still full. His black eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Mormo is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Mormo was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His childhood dream was to be a Laborer, but he was a colossal failure. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and further expansion of business

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
