History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Anbera was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to protect her home
