History: He was born in a small plains village. Through the years after Manfred was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Manfred's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Nimble was born the youngest of three triplets. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Unemployed, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and doesn't want to be a unemployed and was forced into it by his family

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ellyjoybell was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
