Description: This man stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has styled his white hair well, parting it to the left. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'7" when asserting herself. She has white hair. Her red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Animal Trainer. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Salanop reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
