History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He struck the Ploughman job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of orcs

History: He was born in the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

History: Quelenna hails from a village terrorized by giants. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Jeweler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Jeweler work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
