History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student she started as a Armorer, but she got bored and became a Scribe. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.
