History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Personality: Sariel wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Dyer born in the past three hundred years. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dûgz grew up listening to his mother's many stories. After coming to the age of reason, Dûgz took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has worked as a Dyer like his mother before him.
