Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Tordek is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the south to a Courier, Tordek learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He became a Courier soon after.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: Ranala hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. A true patriot, Ranala would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She tends to her Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wants to open a new tavern
