He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Eldeth has worked very hard to control her curse. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs, and a wedding ring on her right hand. She keeps her brown hair in a pixie cut. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. A true patriot, Veloptima would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born in a small island village. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: She is mildly Gnome supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and to end her boredom
