History: She comes from a rich northern family. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Alain alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Baern was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Baern's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Engong studied abroad. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

Description: She typically wears red cloth garments or leather armor. She carries with her a set of nunchakus on her belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. She wears her red hair down. Her fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Paela wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She got into the Shepherd business at a young age. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paela fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult
