Magic Weapon

| The crawling things of the earth, such as insects, snakes, and vermin, are attracted to this item. When placed on the ground, such creatures will scurry toward the item like moths drawn to the flame. |
| Cursed. The item is cursed, and attuning to it extends this curse to you. You cannot remove the item unless you are targeted by the remove curse spell or similar magic. As long as you are afflicted with this curse, you are unable to remove the item or break your attunement to it, and creatures you interact with can always tell when you are lying; you automatically fail all Charisma (Deception) checks you make. You also automatically fail any saving throw you make that would prevent a creature from reading your thoughts or communicating with you telepathically, and you cannot attune to a ring of mind shielding, be targeted by a mind blank spell, or benefit from any similar effect. |
Magic Armor

| Grants resistance to cold damage. If you have both the White Dragon weapon and armor affixes, you are granted immunity to cold damage. Both must be equipped to gain this benefit. |

While attuned to the item, you are blind. You cannot benefit from darkvision, blindsight or truesight, you cannot see through the eyes of other creatures, nor can you see using spells like arcane eye or scrying. |

Magic Backstory
If you want to add some distinctiveness to a magic item, you can use the generated origin below:
Elf. Weighs half as much and adorned with leaves, vines, stars, and other natural symbols.
Prophecy. The item and its bearer are destined within a future prophecy.
Repulsive. Touching the item gives you a sense of distaste.
