During my early years I was raised by my mother and father in a small cottage in the country, where we often tended to the animals and crops. One day as I worked on the farm with my father, a dagger, tipped with poison flew through his chest, he read the message before ultimately succumbing to the poison minutes later. To this day I haven't learned what the message said, written in a tongue I cannot recognise. After the death of my father, my family struggled, we travelled to the city where we lived in a slum, my mother working in a whorehouse as we kids had to fend for ourselves on the streets. It's there I began wielding the dagger, and falling into strange circles. It's there I met Imol (Taselk), my partner in crime, as well as the man who taught me the Thieves Cant, letting me communicate more effectively with those sharing similar ideals. Throughout my younger years it was he who raised me, fed me, clothed me. I truly lived it up with him until one day he left, the note left reading "I am being hunted, so I shall flee for now, but I will return". He never returned, presumably killed by who/whatever had been after him. I spent a year after his leaving meeting others, mostly low level thieves and pickpockets, but they had no intention of doing more in life. I was stuck, young, poor, with only odd jobs keeping me from sinking into poverty once more. That was until one day I overheard a conversation in the tavern. A bounty, on the head of one known as Kallistus (Gahle). And a pretty bounty it was too. A human such as myself who had been caught stealing from the nobles, now hiding in the city. So I searched, asked around, speaking in Cant as I asked for directions, any information on finding the fellow. Yet no one knew of his whereabouts.
