History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. History: He was raised in a forest tribe. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Cecily was born the youngest of three triplets. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She tends to her Tailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Tailor and was forced into it by her family; and sabotage a competitor
