History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Crown-heir and was forced into it by her family.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Through the years after Cecily was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Cecily's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
